Lauren Plaine, MPS, RN, CEN, has been an emergency nurse for more than six years and loves to engage others and share her passion for the work of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) to better emergency nursing. Plaine completed her Master of Professional Studies in Emergency and Disaster Management at Georgetown University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Old Dominion University. Plaine is currently working at Sentara Obici Emergency Department. Plaine has held multiple volunteer positions within ENA and currently sits as the Secretary of the Virginia State Council, Immediate Past President of the Tidewater Chapter, and member of the national Advocacy Advisory Council. Plaine served as the inaugural Emerging Professional Liaison to the National Board of Directors in 2018.
