Overview

The 24th Annual Rao R. Ivatury Symposium, Trauma: Best Practices in the New Frontier, is a multidisciplinary conference designed to inform attendees about current challenges in trauma care throughout the continuum and about current concepts and best practices across a range of environments, from critical care access hospitals in rural communities to advanced tertiary care centers in urban areas.

Objectives

  1. Identify current best practices in trauma care for successful patient outcomes in blunt and penetrating trauma.
  2. Identify the importance of a team approach for successful trauma outcomes.
  3. Describe primary resuscitation differences in unique trauma populations (e.g., burn, peds).

Cancellation Policy 
Registration fee, less a 15% non-refundable administrative fee, will be refunded only if written notice of cancellation is received via email to ceinfo@vcuhealth.org on or before May 28, 2024. There will be no refunds after that date.
