The Awards and Scholarship Committee, chaired by Denise Phillip, has been hard at work reviewing and updating the Awards Policy. We encourage everyone to review the updated policy (attached) to become familiar with the award categories, eligibility requirements, and nomination process.
The 2026 Awards Cycle opens July 15 and closes August 15. Start thinking now about the outstanding colleagues and volunteers you'd like to recognize!
What's New?
· The Clinical Excellence Award (Nurse Rockstar/Nursing in the Trenches) is now open to eligible emergency and forensic nurses, regardless of ENA membership. This expanded eligibility reflects Virginia ENA's commitment to recognizing exceptional nurses making a difference at the bedside.
