General Assembly is where delegates from across the country come together to discuss, debate, and vote on decisions that impact emergency nursing nationwide.

Delegate Expectations
Selected delegates are expected to actively participate in the General Assembly process and represent Virginia ENA professionally throughout all proceedings.
Delegate responsibilities include:
• Mandatory in-person attendance at the September 4, 2026 Virginia State Council Meeting prior to General Assembly
• Completion of the required ENA General Assembly Delegate Orientation
• Attendance at all General Assembly proceedings
• Adherence to Virginia ENA reimbursement procedures and disclosure of all funding sources when requesting reimbursement
