2026 Alaska ENA Officers
President

Immediate Past President
I was originally born in Arlington, Virginia and moved to Alaska when I was 10 years old. We moved 8 months later to Bush Alaska where we spent several summers building a house/cabins and eventually turned it into a summer camp for families (my dad wrote a book about it! Planes, Bears and the Turkey Bomber by James Oliver).
When I was 16, I started flyfishing and raft guiding, sometimes by myself with two clients. I wanted to be better equipped to handle emergencies out in the middle of nowhere, so took my first EMT class at 18 From there, my love for medicine grew and I eventually got my nursing license in 2010. I have worked pediatric outpatient care, long-term acute care, emergency department, pediatric trauma PI and am currently the ED/ICU Educator at Providence Alaska Medical Center as well as the American Heart Association Training Center Coordinator for PAMC. I have served the Alaska ENA as a delegate, conference planning committee member and as president from 2023-2025.
