In 2026, the PECC check-in calls will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1pm CST. There will be new links to the calls sent out before the first call on January, 27th. I will post the link here.
Just a reminder that the 2026 National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) Assessment will open on March 3rd and run through May 31, 2026. All ED PECCs/ED Nurse leaders are reminded to go to the website on March 3rd Pediatric Readiness Assessment - Home Page
and print out the new 2026 NPRP assessment, gather the information to complete the assessment and return to the website to enter your data. This assessment is an ED initiative and collaboration with the trauma program is encouraged in Trauma Centers. Only one person can complete the assessment in the portal for each hospital and that person must be from the ED. This is the first national assessment of ED Pediatric Readiness since 2021 and it is very important that all hospitals and those 24/7 free-standing ED's that wish to participate, do so between March 3-May 31, 2026.
