Greeting Pediatric Community,
Happy New Year.
I wanted to share the link to the Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinators monthly check in we do through the ImPACTS group. We have been holding these meetings monthly for over a year. We typically have presentations for about 20 minutes and then spend the rest of our time talking about the challenges, successes and tips for being a Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator in the ED. All of these sessions have been recorded. I am sharing the link to find those below.
Our final PECC call of 2025 was on Dec. 2nd. We updated the ImPACTS Website to have all of the previous recordings. Please check them out and feel free to share the link with other PECCs that might be interested. Past Recordings | ImPACTS
We are happy to report that these PECC check ins have been very well attended by PECCs from all over the country. We have people with lots of experience in the role and many who have just been volunTOLD they are now the PECC. There is something for everyone here and lots of opportunity to learn from your peers. If you are interested in the role of PECC and have no clue what it means, please join this community and learn more.
In 2026, we will standardize the date for our PECC check in calls to the 4th Tuesday of every month at 1pm Central Time. We will continue to record them and you can find them at the link above. Here is the link to join the calls for 2026. The first one will take place on January 27 at 1pm CST.
