    Hi all,

    As a PECC in Idaho and an ENA member, I will be at ENA25 and I'm wondering if other PECCs will be there as well. If so, would anybody be interested to meet up and exchange ideas and experiences that we have with our programs?

    PECC?? Do you work at St. Luke's? St. A's or West Valley?

    Hi David, I'm Chelsea. I grew up in Poky, went to CWI and BSU, and am now in MN in the pediatric ER. I have been around a few different states. I should be in NOLA and just wanted to say hi!

    I am the Pediatric Readiness liaison for our state (Florida) ENA as well as the program coordinator. We ae building our program now and always welcome collaboration with others. I would love to meet up if possible.

    David,

    I'm the Project Manager for the Texas Pediatric Readiness Improvement Project.  You just inspired me to order 250, I'm a PECC, Are You? ribbons because, who doesn't need more ribbons at EN25?  We'll sport those PECC ribbons and hopefully it will be a conversation starter. I believe a PECC SIG meeting that was requested at EN25, was declined by the conference organizers this year.  I have no understanding of why.  Let's just look for a pink PECC ribbon and get together informally in NOLA.  If we pass Resolution GA25-02, we will insist on a PECC SIG get together at EN26!!  I'll put the ribbons in the ribbon boxes near the registration desk.

    David, Thank you so much for making that suggestion.  We've been told by ENA that we will have a space, and we should know when and where, by the end of the week.  We are so excited to get together with all the PECCs from across the country.  Hopefully we'll have the passage of resolution GA25-02: Designation of a Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator in Every Emergency Department to celebrate!

    OK, fellow Pediatric Emergency Care Champions, here's the scoop on our PECC SIG meeting

    We will meet in Room 335 of the Convention Center on Thursday Sept. 18th from 1:00-2:00pm local time.  The date and time should be in the EN25 App!

    Join colleagues to connect, share experiences, and exchange strategies to strengthen the PECC role in supporting Pediatric Readiness. This session offers a collaborative space to discuss challenges, highlight successes, and explore resources to support pediatric care in emergency settings.  
    Look for your pink I'm a PECC, Are You? ribbon and lets see if we can get all 250 of them on badges!!
    Please help spread the word.  If you see someone with a PECC ribbon, tell them about the SIG meeting on Thursday.  Can't wait to see you all!

    Hey Mel, thanks for letting the Maryland PECCs know about the meeting. Unfortunately there won't be a virtual option for the SIG meeting.  We were actually an add on. They turned  down our original request and after we got support for the idea on CONNECT about getting together, they found a room for us.  I am planning to put the ribbons out with the rest of the ribbons.  I might hold out a few for the SIG mtg.
