Dear Pediatric Readiness Advocates,
I wanted to share some resources that currently exist for Hospital Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinators to collaborate with your peers. The ImPACTS website has an ED page where lots of resources are available, but the newest resource is a Community of Practice and discussion Board for PECCs. You will have to share your name and email.
Here is the direct link to the ED page on the ImPACTS website: https://www.impactscollaborative.com/ed
The Texas and Michigan Pediatric Readiness Improvement Project also has a Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator, regularly scheduled Hospital PECC check-ins at 1pm CDT every 4 weeks on Tuesday. Here is the link to a .pdf and .png of the PECC check schedule.

Here is the link to the PECC check-in scheduled for July 15th. Join from computer or mobile: https://iu.zoom.us/j/88953527896 Meeting...
Attached is the schedule with links to join each check-in for the rest of the year.
Come back tomorrow to see the call for supporters of a resolution being brought to the General Assembly calling for ENA's support of a Designated PECC in Every Emergency Department. GA25-02. We would appreciate your support.

Hey,
the EMSC website and IMPACTs both have tons of information. I know IMPACTs does have monthly PECC check in zooms where they explore different obstacles of the role.
I am the second PECC that our facility has had, right now it is my primary role. It was a struggle to come from staff RN to office life. I am happy to help answer any questions that you may have. Right now our obstacle and catch up to becoming "pediatric ready verified" is our providers with PALS and CEU's.

Hi Kierston,
Our system (9 hospitals) created 2 PECC position, and we are just starting to develop our roles, establishing a QI committee and having all of our 9 hospitals certified. We would love to cooperate with other PECCs and exchange ideas and tips.

Our facility also has recently became a pediatric ready facility in the state of Nebraska and recently I have taken the PECC position, I would be interested in collaborating with other PECC nurses.

Our health system recently hired a PECC nurse who is interested in collaborating with other PECC nurses. Are there others who would be interested in collaborating?
