The long awaited revision of the Joint Policy Statement: Pediatric Readiness in the Emergency Department will be e-published in the Journal of Emergency Nursing on January 20, 2026. An accompanying Technical Report will also e-publish that day.
On February 12, from 1-2pm CST, the EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center will host a Webinar titled NEW Pediatric Readiness Guidelines for a NEW National Assessment. Register here for that webinar:

The 2026 National Assessment will open on March 3rd and close on May 31st. Please take part in this webinar, if possible, for a preview of the New Guidelines and put the National Assessment dates on your calendar now.
