Members at the State Council Meeting Friday were made aware that National won’t be giving us additional spots for Day on the Hill this year. However, this does not mean that additional ENA members can’t go and speak with Members of Congress and/or their staff on Capitol Hill. The 3 spots given were to ensure Virginia is included in day 1, which is training provided by ENA. Day 2 (May 22nd) is open to all members who are interested in going and advocating on behalf of Emergency Nurses.

She will be setting up meetings and will need to know who is going so she can plan accordingly. Please be aware that if you choose to participate in day 2 on May 22nd you will be doing so on your own and no monetary assistance will be provided.
