I recommend making reservations as soon as possible. A block of rooms has been reserved for FENA at a special rate. You are expected to make your own reservations and submit your final expenses for reimbursement as you would for any General Assembly or FENA meeting. Room costs will be reimbursed to delegates for the nights of September 7, September 8. If you stay for the Chapter Leaders Orientation on September 9, your room will be reimbursed for that night as well. Note that the resort is offering the special rate for three days prior and three days after our event as well if you wish to make a vacation of it. You are responsible for paying for additional nights.
Rooms consist of suites with kitchenette. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa while the separate bedroom has a king-size bed and walk-in shower—plus granite surfaces and tile floors throughout. There is not an option for two queen beds, but delegates polled indicated this was not of importance to them and, it may be more desirable due to coronavirus concerns.
Watersports rentals, bicycles, and beach cabanas are available, as well as the pool area. There is a trolley that transports people to Ft Myers for a nominal fee.
Room rates for Gulf view are $135/night plus $18 resort fee and taxes (11.5%). The resort fee covers hi-speed internet, self-parking, daily newspaper, in room coffee and tea. You are responsible for any charges made to your room.

Rates are good for three days prior to Sept 8 and three days after Sept 9. Check in is 3:00 PM and check out is 11:30 AM.
Travel will be reimbursed per FENA policy for travel.
We will be sending out information regarding the agenda and plans for General Assembly soon. Be sure to plan to attend the Delegate Dinner the evening of September 7, which will be held in the beautiful dining room of the resort overlooking the water. Delegates will be provided breakfast and lunch on Sept 8th; those attending the CLO on Sept 9 will be provided breakfast and lunch as well.
Please let me or our state captain, Dottie Hindman, know if you have any questions or concerns. We realize there is a coronavirus epidemic and are working with the resort to ensure your safety. Rooms will be set up for social distancing of 6 feet, masks will be required, and we have been assured every precaution will be taken to decrease the spread of the virus. Any delegates feeling, they prefer to join General Assembly from their own homes may, of course, do so.
