Christie Jandora, MSN, RN works as a Director of Emergency Services in Northwest Florida. In this position she has operational oversight of a Level 1 Alabama/ Level 2 Florida and Pediatric trauma center, Freestanding Emergency Departments and a regional transfer center. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. She has 28 years’ experience in emergency trauma medicine and emergency disaster management operations with over 15 of those years serving in a leadership role. She is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), Florida Society of Health Risk Management Patient Safety, American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She currently serves as the ENA NWFL Chapter President-elect and the Florida ENA Government Affairs Co-chair. She is passionate about emergency nursing care, safe practices, and mentoring new nurses. In the summer of 2020, she co- authored a publication in EMpulse, the official publication of the Florida College of Emergency Physicians, highlighting a cultural exchange trip to emergency departments in Sweden and the Netherlands. Fun fact, she shares a birthday with Florence Nightingale and feels she was destined to be a caregiver.
