This webinar is part of the monthly Florida Pediatric Readiness series. This presentation is designed to review the care of pregnant patients presenting to the emergency department in active labor. Infant resuscitation and care are also defined with a focus on emergency department equipment and readiness. This presentation also shares the journey and collaborative approach of our pediatric and perinatal nursing education teams to improve emergency staff preparedness and perinatal outcomes in the emergency department.
