Hi Adam,
The steps to becoming a course director are as follows. If you are having difficulty finding a mentor please reach out to the trauma committee. We are happy to help! Trauma@californiaena.org
1. The potential course director must be mentored in at least one (1) provider course prior to holding a course independently
2. The mentor must be a current member of the state pediatric or trauma committee (or of the comparable body for the military or a country outside of the U.S.) or a designee of the state chair or committee
3. The mentor must be a current TNCC course director
4. Both the mentoring course director and the potential course director must be present for the entire provider course
5. The course director mentoring agreement form must be signed by the mentor and the mentee and submitted to ENA
