On Sunday March 3rd, tornadoes (including an EF-4 tornado) devastated parts of Lee County Alabama. Many of our ENA family faithfully responded to the needs of their community by reporting to work despite the travel obstacles and the need to make sure their family members were ok. Others, who were at work continued to provide high quality patient care while contacting their loved ones. We are proud of your dedication and commitment. We support you and all of our colleagues, you are in our thoughts and prayers and will remain so in the days to come. We know the emergency continues beyond the end of the actual storm. Everyday Heroes, Every Day. Please contact us (Nancy Shelton, ALENA President) with the name and contact information of any Alabama ENA member who suffered damages from the storm. We have received calls from Patricia Howard, 2019 Emergency Nurses Association President and from the ENA office (see below) offering their support.
