To all,
I would like to welcome everyone to the new website. This is an exciting time for our state council as well and ENA as a whole. I have the privilege of serving as your State Council President for 2019. I began my healthcare career in the small town of Richlands, VA located in true southwest VA as a Respiratory Therapist in 1985 and transitioned to nursing in 1990. Since that time, my career has existed to serve patients in the Emergency Department setting. I currently serve as the Quality and Performance Improvement Director in the ED at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. I have been a member of the ENA for most of that time. I have been actively involved at the state level since 2012. I have been privileged to serve as Chapter and State President previously. I have also attended and represented our council during General Assembly on multiple occasions.
I look forward to working with you in achieving both your local chapter and State goals for 2019.
