Hi All,
Within your Emergency Departments do you have a role for a dedicated Behavioral Health Nurse that provides supervision for your BH population? We currently have ED nurses that provide care to this population when assigned to certain areas of the department, but these nurses also work in medical areas as well (not dedicated BH nurses). We are exploring the option of adding an ED BH Nursing role to our team and I was hopeful that some of you may have a role like this already. I am appreciative of any and all detail that you could share on this topic.
