    Candidate for FENA secretary, Cathy O'Neil
    Cathy has served as FENA State Secretary since 2020. She is a member of the West Coast chapter of ENA. She received her PhD. at College of Nursing at University of South Florida, Tampa. Her primary interests include leadership and management, and education. Cathy is CEN certified, and teaches TNCC and ENPC in addition the AHA certifications. She is currently employed as an administrative supervisor at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, with previous employment as a professor at the University of South Florida and University of Tampa. In addition to her ENA membership, Cathy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Florida Nurses Association, National League of Nursing, and the Tampa Bay Organization of Nurse Executives. As a member of the Florida Nurses Association, Cathy has served as National Delegate most years since 2005, on the National Wellness Committee, the State Chair Institute for Quality, Safety and injury Prevention (IQSIP), and State Volunteer Ambassador Chairperson for National Convention 2011. On the local chapter level, Cathy has been President 2011-2012, 2017-2018 and President Elect 2009-2010, 2014-2016.
