    Hello!

Would anyone be able to share their current Pediatric MTP policies/clinical practice guidelines? We are in the process of updating ours.

    Thank you,

    Julie,

I would highly recommend the Pediatric Trauma Society's website for protocols including a Massive Blood Transfusion policy for peds.  You can find them at https://pediatrictraumasociety.org

    Hi Julie,

I too would recommend the Pediatric Trauma Society website for guidance and would also recommend use of the LifeFlow rapid infuser device and QinFlow inline fluid warmer. The Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center I work at utilizes these devices for patients less than 20 kg with great success. Both are simple and quick to set up and a unit of blood can be infused in about 2 minutes!
