The Az ENA is having two major fundraising events coming up to benefit the ENA Foundation! Why is this important? Money raised from fundraisers will contribute to scholarships and grants the Foundation awards to our nurse colleagues in emergency nursing. According to the ENA website, the Foundation has awarded $4.1 million in scholarships for nursing degrees, $568,000 in grant monies, $369,000 in continuing education, and $265,000 in Covid-19 financial hardship grants. This is an opportunity for nurses to help nurses by getting the word out about these fundraisers. Let’s continue to raise funds and support each other in the advancement of emergency nursing to improve each other, and to improve emergency nursing practice.
How can I help? We are having two fundraisers: A cookie dough sale and a virtual 5K.
The cookie dough sale is from October 1st through October 29th. Ordering is done on-line, and cookies will ship directly to the buyer’s door anywhere in the US. The cost is $32.39 per tub, or $70.18 for three tubs. Prices include shipping and handling. The link to order is:
