I have been an RN for 35 years, and a Full Time RN in the ER for 11 years. The ER is my passion. Talking and educating the patients, getting to know a bit about them, informing them what is happening to their loved one during a crisis, helping my team mates at work ...I love it all ...to encourage others to pursue their dreams that match their passions in life.
I am so thrilled to be a part of ENA. I have been a member since 2008. My first General Assembly attendance was in 2013 and I haven't missed one since!
I am currently the Arkansas State Council ENA President for 2018-19. Communicating and encouraging others is part of what I do every day
ENA is the butter on my bread, the sweet Jam on the butter. It is part of my nursing life. I am blended with ENA in a way that fosters a better practice for me at the bedside, and encouragement of my colleagues to follow a new path towards the same. Fortunately, my leaders at work are also ENA members.
My hobbies and interests are camping, sailing, cooking and travelling. I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother.

Let me help you in ways you never knew you had open to you, options that possibly weren't explored, thoughts and ideas, let's talk, chat and perhaps become new friends. The world is open to you in your nursing career. If I can help you get there, expand it and life a fuller life for it, then you are the winner. I don't care about race, religion or how much or how little money you make. I do care how you treat people, and that ensures mutual respect.
